WELCOME TO
Holy Trinity with St Matthews
ONE BIG FAMILY
It is with immense joy and excitement that we extend a warm and deep welcome to each and every one of you, whether you are a longtime member, a newcomer, or someone simply seeking spiritual connection.

In this sacred space, we come together not just as a congregation, but as a diverse and supportive family bound by our shared faith and love for God. As you step into our church, envision it not just as a physical structure, but as a haven for spiritual growth, community fellowship, and unwavering support.
ONE HEART -TWO LUNGS
St Matthew's Church a bilingual community of faith. We have different groups in English and Spanish, and just like Jesus called God his Father abba in his own mother tongue (Aramaic), we too worship God and pray in our own language.
Our model is taken from the letters of St Paul, when he reflected on the nature of the Church. We are one body, one parish, one community, one family. Just as a human body, we breathe through our two lungs. Each of the lungs has its own characteristics and needs, its richness and challenges, its uniqueness. But having both is what make us what we are, a very open, inclusive, friendly and welcoming family.
How you can donate and help OUR Church

FRIENDS OF ST MATTHEW'S PLEDGE
A pledge is a commitment of giving. Generally, people either promise a regular giving amount (for example, £50 per month) or a total annual amount they plan to give. This is not a binding contract or a requirement of membership, it is just a statement of your intention to give to the church.

Your pledge makes it possible for St Matthew's to create a budget for our staffing, ministries, programs and outreach for the coming year. Pledging is the primary basis for what we can accomplish as a church. Pledging is also a spiritual discipline that provides a tangible way for you to grow in your faith by sharing the resources God has blessed you with.

Many people worry that they will promise to give a certain amount and then encounter some sort of financial emergency and not be able to fulfill their commitment. Don't worry! A pledge is a serious commitment, but it is not a legal document or contract of any kind - it is purely voluntary. If you have an emergency or change in your financial situation, we understand. Not being able to meet your pledge will not affect your standing at the church at all - we want to walk with you through good times and bad, so don't let money troubles keep you from participating in the life of the church. If you make a pledge and then can't fulfill it for some reason, just let us know. We can update your pledge in such cases with no negative consequences for you.

If you have any questions about the pledge you can email either the churchwardens or the treasurer, their details are on the Staff Team page.

If you would like to make your pledge as a friend of St Matthew's, please fill in the form below and send it to the treasurer either by post (St Matthew's Church, Meadow Row, London - SE1 6RG) or email. Thank you for your generosity.
