Urban Summer Camp 2020

At St Matthew's we would love the kids to have a summer adventure packed with fun that they can enjoy and remember.

Children get together to meet new friends, and together play some sports, keep active, develop creativity, learn some healthy cooking and keeping an active and healthy lifestyle.

The scheme runs in partnership with the Mayor of London's Kitchen Social and the Councils of Lambeth and Southwark "Summer of Food and Fun", and is aimed to help children (particularly those on free school meals) and, where appropriate, their parents:

  • to be more active over the summer holidays

  • to take part in engaging and enriching activities which support the development of resilience, character and wellbeing and other skills

  • to be safe and not to be socially isolated

  • to have greater knowledge of health and nutrition; and

  • to be more engaged with school and other local services and to have greater knowledge and awareness of local free holiday provision.

Kids from 5 to 13 years old.
