We believe that everyone should have the chance to explore the Christian faith, ask questions and share their point of view.
Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. Alpha is run all around the globe, and everyone’s welcome. No two Alphas look the same, but generally they have three key things in common: food, a talk and good conversation.
Alpha is for anyone who’s curious. The talks are designed to encourage conversation and explore the basics of the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. No question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish.You may have some background knowledge of or belief in Christianity or you may have none at all – everyone is welcome.
Alpha is ten sessions with the option of an away day in the middle. Each session includes food, a talk or film and a discussion at the end where you can share your thoughts. Pop along for the first session and see what you think? You don’t have to finish the whole course if, at any point, you think Alpha isn’t for you. There’s no pressure, no follow up and no charge.
